The Cederblad 214, Sharpless 2-171 Region (Fall 2015) This amazing space-scape of stars, gas, and dust lies in the constellation Cepheus. What's going on here?
Cederblad 214. Located in the constellation Cepheus 214 is part of a huge emission nebula. Like many nebula of this type it is a very active star nursery. Bok globules (dark gaseous clouds that form protostars) seem to float across the brighter areas of nebulosity.
